I’ve been battling neck thread worm in my qh gelding for the last 5 years. I’ve stood in front of many, many vets that have no idea how/what/why for this condition. I’ve had to use a double dosing method of ivermectin and prednisolone in the extreme Florida summer heat. This horse used to be bloody raw, no fur on his face and huge hives covering his body. He had rubbed out his mane and tail, runny eyes, lethargic and almost dangerous to himself with self mutilation. He would find anything he could to scratch himself bloody on.

My horse had fall allergies. He has had this the last 4 years. I've tried it all but he still coughed and sneezed all winter. I decided to give him a steroid which was helping some. He is a very picky eater and yes, very spoiled. I went looking for a natural way to help him with his allergies. I ran across this product from Twenty Four Carrots and because he is so picky ordered a small bag. At first he was very skeptical of it. It does have a smell but it smell good. Alot of spearmint smell. I mixed in his food and at first him moved his food around but finally started eating it and now he loves it. I can even put it in my hand and he licks it right up. More importantly it works. He is off steroids and no coughing. I love this. I'm also looking into some of the other products. This company is really good with great products for your animals.

We have two horses on this product. They are both extreme cases. One is young and a Thoroughbred the other is a twenty year old Half Arabian. They have each been on this product for two months but within the first two weeks we had no symptoms. The young mare had been having mucus in her lungs and chronic infections which kept her from eating her normal ration. She is bright eyed and eating every bite today. The older show horse is a true miracle story. For years we have done everything including the testing and shots every month. Her only relief from coughing was all of the above plus cetirizine tablet twice a day. She no longer needs these pills and she can breathe normally for the first in years. This product is the best.
4 years ago my mare started having crazy itches in the summer. The heat, the bugs, the sweat. Summer was just not her friend. The breakouts and itch was over the top. She would itch so much she had no hair on her face and the sores from itching became a constant battle. Her neck, face, mane area, hind quarters and tail were a multiple times a day apply some kind medicine to try to alleviate her misery and heal the sores that became bloody because her itch was constant. I did an allergy test on her and it led to me needing to change her diet, which I did. It was determined she has a hypersensitivity to bug bites. I tried it all as far as topical ointment. She was placed on a pharmaceutical trial and it just didn’t have the results I was expected or really hoped for. I had her on the meds for 3 summers starting early before the summer conditions were in full effect. They did work to some extent in the beginning but by summers end we were not better off. Mentally they were not good. She became so miserable that to touch her, bath her, any grooming in general would lead to biting, kicking. She became so sensitive to any touch. This summer is my first year using this product and I’m planning on continuing and with all hope her condition can be healed from the inside out. I am extremely pleased with her progress this summer.
